Your colleague
For restaurants and cafés

Diners ask about hours and allergens at any hour — your colleague answers from your menu.

A named AI colleague (an AI assistant) on WhatsApp that answers diners from your menu: opening hours, allergens, groups. It never guesses on an allergy — it asks the kitchen — and it starts in draft mode until you are ready.

Sami

Restaurants and cafés
A written example
Are you open on Sunday evening?
Yes, on Sundays we are open from 18:00 to 23:00.
↳ Answered from: Opening hours
Is the tajine gluten free?
I do not want to guess on an allergy. I have asked the kitchen to confirm and they will answer here.
↪ Handed to the kitchen
A written example, not a real conversation. Once you create your colleague, it answers from what you teach it.

On WhatsApp, at any hour

Opening hours, what is on the menu, what is in it: the questions diners ask before they come, answered when they ask.

Answers from your menu

Give it your menu and your allergen sheet once — it reads them and answers from them.

Never guesses on an allergy

If your menu does not settle the question, it asks the kitchen to confirm and tells the diner the kitchen will answer.

Hands over to a person

Large groups, private events and complaints about an order go to your team, with the conversation so far.

What you give it

You answer a short list of starter questions (15 for this trade), and a readiness score says when Sami knows enough. To go faster, give it what you already have: a menu insert, the allergen sheet, the FAQ from your website, a photo of the board by the door.

When it hands over to a person

  • An allergy question the menu does not settle — Tells the person a human will reply, and sends you the question with the conversation so far.
  • A large group or a private event — Tells the person a human will reply, and sends you the question with the conversation so far.
  • A complaint about an order — Tells the person a human will reply, and sends you the question with the conversation so far.

Questions

Can it answer questions about allergies?
It does not guess on an allergy. When your menu or allergen sheet settles the question it answers from it; when it does not, it asks the kitchen to confirm and tells the diner that the kitchen will answer.
What about large groups, private events or complaints?
A large group, a private event or a complaint about an order is handed to a person: it tells the customer that a human will reply and sends you the question with the conversation so far.
Which documents can I give it?
Whatever you already have: a menu insert, the allergen sheet, the FAQ from your website, a photo of the board by the door. It answers from what you give it, and says so when it does not know.
What does it do when it does not know the answer?
It does not guess. It says it will check and files the question on a list ranked by how often it is asked. You answer it once, it can then give that answer itself, and you approve what it learns.
Can it send messages to customers without my approval?
No. It starts in draft mode: nothing is sent to a customer until you decide it should be.
How long does it take to set up?
From choosing it to its first answer, an afternoon: you answer a short list of starter questions, a readiness score tells you when it knows enough, and you can add documents and photos to go faster. Nothing is created until you make an account, on the last step.
How much does it cost?
A one-time setup, then a monthly subscription — no commission and no price per message. WhatsApp provider fees are billed separately by Meta. The plans are on the pricing page.
